Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Morgantown, WV

Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Morgantown, WV

Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

• Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed MedSurg Stepdown unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:3 (Stepdown) and 1:5–6 (Floor)
• Titrate IV drips and manage patients requiring close hemodynamic monitoring
• Read and interpret telemetry strips independently; work in conjunction with telemetry technicians who post strips each shift
• Collaborate with in-house Respiratory Therapy (available 24/7) for patients on ventilators and other respiratory support equipment
• Work alongside Certified Nursing Assistants and, during day shift, a dedicated Charge Nurse and Transport RN
• Adhere to weekend and holiday rotation requirements as scheduled

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Experience titrating IV drips in a stepdown or intermediate care setting
• COVID-19 vaccination required (full vaccination series); medical or religious exemption requests must be submitted for review and approval
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility per travel contract requirements

• Prior experience in a MedSurg Stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting
• Familiarity with ventilator management in a stable patient population
• ACLS certification

• Work in a well-supported unit with in-house Respiratory Therapy coverage 24/7 and dedicated nursing support staff
• Gain valuable stepdown experience in an established acute care facility with a structured team environment
