Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Step-Down

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3×12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down / Intermediate Care unit within a short-term acute care facility
- Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as a core clinical requirement of the role
- Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in accordance with unit standards
- Float between units as needed to support staffing and patient care continuity
- Adhere to unit dress code and all facility compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a Step-Down, IMC, or PCU setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips (hard stop requirement – candidates without this skill will not be considered)
- Epic EMR experience required
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Familiarity with acute care settings of similar size and scope
- Flexibility to float between sister facilities within the health system as needed
