Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities as needed
- Complete required pre-start modules prior to assignment begin date
- Adhere to all compliance, documentation, and time-off request policies throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in South Carolina at time of submission — no pending licenses accepted
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler
- Two supervisory references required
- Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 5 years before returning as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
- Prior PCU or stepdown unit nursing experience
