Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Stepdown unit setting
- Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care between ICU and general medical floors
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Float to Med Surg unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Current experience in a PCU, IMC, or Stepdown clinical setting
- BLS certification required
- Ability to float to a Med Surg unit as directed
- Willingness to fulfill a 13-week travel contract commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
- Experience working in a Med Surg unit in addition to PCU
- Strong adaptability and ability to acclimate quickly to new clinical environments
