Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability
- Perform advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions within a Progressive Care Unit setting
- Utilize advanced clinical knowledge and experience to influence and guide patient care decisions
- Monitor and interpret basic EKG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Required Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Verification of high school diploma or equivalent required per College of American Pathologists (CAP) moderate complexity testing standards
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous PCU or Progressive Care Unit experience strongly preferred
- Basic EKG interpretation experience preferred
