Travel RN – Pulmonary Stepdown (IMC/PCU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Pulmonary Stepdown unit with a patient ratio of 1:3–4
- Perform tracheostomy care, chest tube management, and wound dressing changes
- Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips and stable ventilated patients
- Operate patient lifts and assist with care of patients requiring advanced respiratory support
- Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system
- Float to other med/surg and progressive care units as needed; fulfill weekend shift requirements (6 Saturday or Sunday shifts per 6-week period)
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience working with tracheostomy patients
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience with Cerner EMR
- Strong flexibility and high level of clinical competence in a stepdown or progressive care setting
