    Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Day Shift (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) setting within a high-volume, regional referral hospital
    • Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level care, including telemetry monitoring and timely intervention
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
    • Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately in alignment with unit protocols
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or a compact state
    • Current BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
    • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or IMC nursing experience
    • Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and interpretation
    • Ability to meet travel nursing requirements and work onsite for the duration of the assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • ACLS certification
    • Prior travel nursing experience in a PCU or Stepdown environment
    • Experience working in a large, acute care or regional referral hospital setting
