Travel RN – Cardiac Step-Down (IMC/PCU/Stepdown)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 15-bed Cardiac Step-Down unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3–4:1
- Monitor and manage patients post-EP lab and post-cath lab procedures
- Operate and manage telemetry equipment, sheaths, and IV drips (gtts)
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float to all Med-Surg and Step-Down units as needed
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements of 4 shifts per 6-week schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down setting
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience with telemetry monitoring, sheaths, and IV drips
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience
- Experience in a cardiac-focused unit or with post-procedural cardiac patients
