We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU/PCU) Registered Nurse to provide care for adult patients with complex cardiac, neurological, respiratory, trauma, and post-operative conditions. This is a high-acuity step-down environment requiring strong assessment and critical care skills.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-acuity IMCU patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and neurological status
• Administer medications, IV drips, and treatments
• Manage respiratory support devices and specialty equipment
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR
• Float to similar units as needed
