Registered Nurse – ICU (Travel Contract)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an ICU and IMU setting with a focus on critically ill adult patients
- Monitor and interpret EKG rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Titrate critical care drips including vasopressors and sedation medications per protocol
- Manage common diagnoses including COPD, acute respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, and shock
- Operate unit equipment including cardiac monitors, IV pumps, bedside dialysis, and fluid warmers
- Float to Telemetry overflow as needed and collaborate with charge nurses and clinical staff leads
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 1.5 years of ICU experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proficiency in EKG interpretation and critical thinking in high-acuity environments
- Knowledge of critical drip titration including vasopressors and sedation
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Must meet travel distance requirements (60+ miles from facility)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong teamwork skills with a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care
