Travel RN – Adult ICU (Days)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient conditions and develop, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans for critically ill adults
- Administer intravenous fluids and medications, manage ventilators and IABP, and perform suctioning and wound care
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, ensuring all critical care equipment is functioning properly
- Assist physicians with procedures and respond to life-saving situations using established nursing standards and protocols
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary critical care team and serve as a patient advocate
- Provide education and support to patient families; float to lower acuity units as needed based on facility census
Required Qualifications- Minimum 3 years of recent RN ICU experience in an Acute Care or LTAC facility setting
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator and trach management, wound care, and central line care
- Active Texas RN license or multi-state RN license (must be current and valid)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Ability to start within 2 weeks of offer
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care setting
- Experience managing pre- and post-operative patients in an ICU environment
