Travel RN – Critical Care / ICU (Nights)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain and record initial patient assessments, establishing care priorities based on age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs; reassess patients systematically to identify trends requiring intervention.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care.
  • Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on interpretation of clinical findings and patient outcomes, modifying care plans as needed.
  • Coordinate team assignments and delegate unit work appropriately, following up on delegated tasks to ensure quality and completeness of patient care.
  • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning; implement and document timely, patient-appropriate interventions.
  • Perform Point of Care testing procedures and maintain compliance with all patient and environmental safety policies.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification from the AHA.
  • Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Current knowledge and clinical skills appropriate to the age and type of patient population served in a critical care environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, adapting to the developmental needs of patients and families.
  • Experience with floating to additional units or locations as needed.
