Key Responsibilities- Obtain and record initial patient assessments; establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized, measurable plans of care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care.
- Reassess patients systematically to identify trends requiring intervention and modify the plan of care accordingly.
- Coordinate team assignments and delegate unit work appropriately to ensure completion of required patient care activities.
- Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning.
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures and document timely, appropriate interventions.
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
- Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Current ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Current TNCC Certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a critical care or ICU setting.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with floating to multiple units or care areas.
- Strong communication and human relations skills that promote teamwork and patient satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in work environment or schedule with flexibility and a positive attitude.
