Key Responsibilities- Provide unit-based leadership working collaboratively with the Nurse Manager, Director, Physicians, and staff
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing and ancillary personnel using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
- Ensure all patients on the unit receive cost-effective, professional care resulting in positive outcomes and high patient satisfaction
- Maintain the highest level of patient safety across the unit
- Assess and implement steps to improve the quality of the patient experience
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Demonstrated supervisory skills or prior supervisory experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Master's Degree in Nursing or related field
- Five or more years of clinical nursing experience
- Clinical specialty and/or nursing administration certification
