Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting as part of a float pool, covering all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU departments
- Float to multiple units and facilities within the health system as assigned based on departmental need
- Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic and support devices including ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Adapt to rotating day and night shift schedules across scheduling cycles based on unit need
Required Qualifications- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License – must be in hand at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Prior teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2.5 or more years of ICU experience
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
