Registered Nurse – ICU (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Rotating 12-Hour Day and Night Shifts (3x12) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting within a float pool capacity, covering all TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU as needed
- Float to various departments and facilities as assigned based on staffing needs and qualifications
- Operate and monitor advanced cardiac and critical care devices including ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Adapt to rotating day and night shift schedules across scheduling cycles based on unit need
Required Qualifications- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- 2.5 or more years of ICU experience
- NIHSS certification
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with ECMO, IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT, and PA Catheters
