We are seeking a skilled and experienced ICU / Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in advanced critical care procedures and patient management.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Procedures & Line Management- Arterial line management
- Central line care and management
- PICC line management
- Port access and management
- IV initiation and maintenance
- Blood product administration
Respiratory / Thoracic Care- Assist with chest tube insertion and removal
- Manage BiPAP and CPAP
- Care of ventilated patients
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
- Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)*
- Suctioning (ETT, nasotracheal)
Genitourinary / Renal- Management of chronic and acute renal failure*
Medication Administration- Continuous IV paralytics / neuromuscular blockade
- Continuous IV sedation
- Emergency medication administration
- Procedural sedation (administration & monitoring)
- Titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
Neurological Care- CVA / Acute stroke management
- Intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring*
Gastrointestinal- Post-operative care for GI surgery patients
Professional Skills- Infection prevention and control
- Isolation precautions and PPE usage
- Phlebotomy
- Wound care (including drains and wound vacs)
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Perform and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG
Endocrine / Metabolic- Management of metabolic and endocrine disorders
