Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a combined CCU and Burn Trauma ICU setting with a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with advanced bedside procedures including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with supervisors, PCTs, and the interdisciplinary team present on every shift
- Adhere to unit scheduling requirements including every-other-weekend rotation and float assignments as needed
Required Qualifications- Active, unrestricted RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU specialty experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech electronic health records system
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- CCRN or TCRN specialty certification
