Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Float to Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit during periods of low ICU census, maintaining patient ratios of 5–6:1
- Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using electronic health record systems
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of professional RN experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- TNCC or TCAR certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Minimum 6 hours of Stroke education (facility can provide if needed)
- EKG course completion (facility can provide if needed)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
- Prior experience floating to Medical/Surgical or Telemetry units
