Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care for assigned patients within an ICU/CSICU setting, serving a wide range of patients from neonates to geriatrics.
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care through a Shared Governance model.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to promote evidence-based care within a healing culture for patients and their families.
- Care for cardiovascular patients who have undergone procedures such as coronary artery bypass grafting, thoracotomy, carotid stenting, and heart valve replacement or repair.
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), ECMO, induced hypothermia protocols, and the Impella Heart Pump.
Required Qualifications- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Current Arkansas or Compact State RN license in good standing; must be in-hand at time of submission.
- Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; must be provided at time of submission.
- NIHSS certification and Nursys verification required with submission.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to read, write, and communicate effectively required.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred.
