Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | Onsite | Full-Time | Weekends and Holidays required per department guidelines
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an adult Intensive Care Unit setting during night shift hours
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill adult patients in accordance with ICU protocols
- Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS standards and stroke care protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to other departments as required per facility guidelines
- Complete all required facility learning modules prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
- Minimum of 24 months of ICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- NIHSS certification required
- Must be a non-Arizona resident (Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Stroke care experience strongly preferred
- Experience in a high-volume, large acute care or Level I Trauma Center environment
