Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 36 Hours per Week | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) population
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience caring for a MICU or mixed critical care patient population
- Familiarity with critical care monitoring equipment and hemodynamic management
