Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- CCRN certification or progress toward critical care certification
- Experience with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
