Travel ICU Registered Nurse – Nights (13 Weeks)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a mixed medical and surgical Intensive Care Unit with a 20-bed capacity
- Manage variable patient ratios based on acuity, including 1:1 assignments for critical or post-operative patients and up to 1:2 for typical ICU assignments
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, IV pumps, telemetry monitors, IABP, Impella, CRRT, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow nasal cannula
- Assist with or support procedures such as intubation, central and arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, thoracentesis, pericardiocentesis, TEE/TTE cardioversion, and transvenous pacing wire insertion
- Utilize the Sunrise EMR system for documentation and patient management
- Float to Progressive Care unit as needed and work every third weekend
Required Qualifications- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to submission
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Telemetry experience required; PCU-level experience or higher strongly preferred
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior ICU experience highly preferred
- Experience managing critical drips, mechanical ventilation, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Organized, adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced critical care environment
