    Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

    Location

    Manchester, New Hampshire

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a mixed medical and surgical ICU setting with a 20-bed unit
    • Manage variable patient ratios based on acuity, including 1:1 assignments for post open heart surgery and critical ICU patients, and up to 1:2 for typical ICU assignments
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including ventilators, telemetry monitors, IV pumps, IABP, Impella, CRRT, BiPAP/CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula
    • Assist with and monitor patients undergoing procedures such as thoracentesis, central and arterial line insertion, chest tube insertion, intubation, TEE cardioversion, and transvenous pacing wire insertion
    • Administer and titrate critical care drips and manage hemodynamically unstable patients
    • Float to Progressive Care unit as needed and work every third weekend
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand prior to submission
    • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
    • Telemetry experience required
    • PCU-level experience or higher required
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior ICU experience strongly preferred
    • Experience with critical drips, mechanical ventilation, and advanced hemodynamic monitoring
    • Organized, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced critical care environment
