Key Responsibilities
  • Function independently under general guidance of unit leadership, adhering to unit-specific guidelines, protocols, and policies
  • Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting with a 1:2 patient ratio on a 20-bed unit
  • Perform and manage ventilator care, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Apply independent action and judgment, utilizing time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving in patient care delivery
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and maintain emotional stability in emergency and high-acuity situations
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care (ICU) experience
  • Proficiency with ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • IV qualification required
  • Active Massachusetts RN License
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
  • Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
  • Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
  • Active PEARS and/or AHA PALS certification
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
