Key Responsibilities- Function independently under general guidance of unit leadership, adhering to unit-specific guidelines, protocols, and policies
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care setting with a 1:2 patient ratio on a 20-bed unit
- Perform and manage ventilator care, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Apply independent action and judgment, utilizing time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving in patient care delivery
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and maintain emotional stability in emergency and high-acuity situations
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of current Critical Care (ICU) experience
- Proficiency with ventilator management, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic monitoring
- IV qualification required
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Meditech Expanse EMR experience strongly preferred
- Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Active PEARS and/or AHA PALS certification
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
