Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high quality and safe patient care delivery
- Monitor and manage appropriate clinical resources related to patient care
- Contribute to the competency development and oversight of clinical staff at the unit level
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Experience in an ICU or CCU clinical setting
- Demonstrated ability to assess and manage critically ill patients
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Ability to delegate and supervise patient care staff effectively
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience supporting nursing leadership or charge nurse responsibilities
- Familiarity with resource management practices in a critical care environment
