Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Cardiac ICU setting at a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including intubations and central line placement
- Operate and monitor cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, tube feed pumps, and Swan catheters
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians across night shift operations
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU hospital experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with neurological and medical ICU patient populations
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a strong emphasis on patient care quality
