Registered Nurse – ICU (MICU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) setting
- Monitor, assess, and respond to critically ill patients requiring intensive nursing interventions
- Float to additional ICU units and Emergency Department for patient holds as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Complete required facility orientation modules, assessments, and annual competencies
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 18 months of permanent ICU/Critical Care experience required
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission; compact state licenses accepted
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (two attempts maximum)
- No open background or license hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending
Preferred Experience / Skills- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
- 18 months of ICU experience within a single location preferred
