Travel Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 9-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of 2:1 and 3:1
- Manage ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, and GE monitors; perform IV drip titration and arterial line management
- Assist with and support procedures including intubation, central line insertions, and arterial line insertions
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Participate in self-scheduling with manager oversight, including 3–4 weekend shifts per schedule period
- Float to Med-Surg or ED as needed to support critical staffing needs; adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET and bedside shift report (BSSR)
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Proficiency with ventilator management and IV drip titration
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience supporting or mentoring new graduate RNs
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
- Experience in a facility with Chest Pain Center or Stroke Accreditation designations
