Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | On-Call Required (minimum 2 shifts per 6-week period)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting within a 10-bed unit at an acute care hospital
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2, with occasional 1:3 assignments based on unit needs
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
- Participate in on-call shifts as required by unit scheduling needs
- Float to other units within the division as needed to meet facility staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience with patient ratio experience of 2–3 patients
- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license required prior to start date
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CCRN certification preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
