Travel Registered Nurse – Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed Surgical Intensive Care Unit serving neurological and intensive care patients
- Manage and monitor patients on ventilators, arterial lines, and central venous lines
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on acuity and unit needs
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EMR
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Adhere to facility dress code, wearing navy scrubs at all times
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
- Proficiency with ICU equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, and central venous lines
- Experience with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills- Neurological ICU experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with medical, neuro, and surgical intensive care patient populations
