Registered Nurse – ICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a lower-acuity ICU setting with a typical patient ratio of 2–4 patients at a time
- Care for a patient population that may include ICU, MedSurg, telemetry, and stepdown-level patients
- Float to MedSurg unit as needed based on census and staffing requirements
- Participate in emergency response protocols as directed by unit management, which may include remaining on-site during or after an emergency event or serving on a relief team
- Complete required facility modules during orientation as scheduled
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Active Compact or Louisiana RN license in hand at time of submittal
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and NIHSS (AHA-issued certifications required)
- Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility (as verified by address on driver's license)
- Current NURSYS report submitted with profile (must be within 4 weeks of submission date)
- Two manager or supervisor references required prior to start (Charge RN references are not acceptable; PDF format required)
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
- Experience with telemetry or stepdown patient populations in addition to ICU
