Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care in Augusta, GA

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for an adult to geriatric population across ICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU, PCU, MS, and MS/Tele units
• Serve as a primary float nurse within the ICU, with the ability to float to all MS, MS/Tele, PCU, and ICU units within the facility
• Maintain safe patient ratios: 1:2–3 in ICU, 1:4–5 in PCU, and 1:5–6 in MS and MS/Tele settings
• Accurately document patient care and clinical data using Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks
• Work every other weekend (averaging 6 weekends per 13-week contract) and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; first-time travelers accepted
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
• Willingness and ability to float to multiple unit types as assigned
• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple unit types including Neuro ICU, CVICU, PCU, and MS/Tele
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity in fast-paced float pool environments
