Travel Nurse RN - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care - $3,066 per week in Pleasant Prairie, WI

Candidates will float to IMCU (stepdown) if needed. A video interview will be required depending on candidate eligibility for the position. The following skills are essential: accessing and managing ports, administration of chemotherapy, arterial line management, and chest tube insertion/removal. Candidates should have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, and care of ventilated patients. Additional required skills include: central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, cardiac surgery recovery, and neuro surgery management. Monitoring skills should include CVP monitoring, infection prevention, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Candidates must demonstrate competency in ventilator management and management of dysrhythmias. Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring is also required. Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE is mandatory. Candidates will be responsible for starting and maintaining IVs, as well as conducting phlebotomy. Familiarity with charting systems is preferred, and experience with specified patient care equipment is advantageous. This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. All submissions should meet compliance regulations during the onboarding process.
