Candidates will be working with step-down patients due to the universal bed model. The ideal candidate must have expertise in specific critical care procedures and patient management. Candidates will care for post-operative CABG patients, as well as patients with acute coronary conditions such as NSTEMI and STEMI. The care environment includes an interdisciplinary support team. Strong emphasis is placed on infection prevention, monitoring, and patient safety. The candidate must be proficient in managing complex cardiac care scenarios and be familiar with advanced monitoring systems. Previous charge experience is preferred but not required. Candidates will be expected to function effectively in a high-pressure environment and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Candidates should have a solid background in neuro-critical care, as well as cardiothoracic care. This role requires adaptability to changing patient needs and the ability to contribute positively to a dynamic care environment. Successful candidates will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety and care within the unit.
