The nurse will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients. Knowledge of IV pumps, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and CRRT/dialysis will be essential. The role involves floating within service lines to meet facility needs as required. Weekend shifts are required every other week. This position does not allow for on-call responsibilities. The nurse is expected to maintain infection control standards and ensure appropriate use of personal protective equipment. Charting will be conducted using Epic software. Strong cardiac knowledge will be beneficial for success in this role. The ability to interpret arterial blood gases and manage ventilated patients is required. Candidates should not have any restrictions on time off beyond the stated limits. The Registered Nurse should be prepared to assist in various procedures and manage emergency situations effectively.
