The nurse will be required to work night shifts, specifically three shifts per week. The role will involve caring for patients with various diagnoses, including cardiac, neuro, and trauma. The nurse may need to float to similar units as necessary. There will be a patient ratio of 2 to 1 during night shifts and weekends. The position requires proficiency in managing complex patient care, including ventilator management and IV therapy. The nurse will participate in interdisciplinary support and work with various healthcare professionals. Additional skills required include central line management, critical care protocols, and emergency medication administration. The ideal candidate will have experience with trauma-level care and acute interventions. The nurse must be willing to work holidays as required. Compliance with specific clinical protocols and maintaining patient safety are essential components of this position.
