The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Intensive Care Unit. This position requires a valid nursing license and certifications in ACLS and BLS. The selected individual will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. Responsibilities will include accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and assisting with various procedures. The nurse will also be involved in blood product administration and management of ventilated patients. Experience with central line care, ICP monitoring, and management of patients with complex health issues is essential. Comprehensive knowledge of respiratory failure, trauma care, and cardiac conditions is necessary. Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. This role involves working weekends and the potential to float to other units. The clinical setting will accommodate a wide range of patient diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. The work environment supports a collaborative team approach with various interdisciplinary support services. Candidates willing to commit to a flexible schedule that includes holiday shifts are preferred. Travelers may have the opportunity to float between similar facilities, as required by the unit's staffing needs.
