This role involves providing critical care to postoperative cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, and general surgery patients. Key Responsibilities of the ICU Registered Nurse
  • Provide care for critically ill/postoperative patients
  • Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator support
  • Monitor and intervene in arrythmias
  • Manage pacemakers/ICD, IABP, CRRT, and VAD
  • Administer advanced cardiac life support
  • Float to other ICU and med-surg floors as needed

Requirements of the ICU Registered Nurse
  • Current ACLS & BLS certifications
  • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
  • EPIC charting system experience required
