Job Title: Staff Nurse Specialty Care Profession: Nursing Specialty: - Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Six months to three years of nursing (RN) experience License: Current Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Experience with intensive cardiac patients (CHF, COPD, end-stage heart failure, cardiogenic shock, septic shock, GI bleeds, CRRT, IABP, Impella, normothermia, stroke patients thrombectomy/TNK, ICU overflow) Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) protects, promotes, and optimizes health and abilities. The RN is responsible for the prevention of illness and injury, and the alleviation of suffering through diagnosis and treatment of human responses. The RN advocates for the care of individuals and families. The RN is accountable for compliance with all standards of practice and professional development. The RN promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care. The RN assesses, plans, delegates, coordinates, implements, and evaluates nursing care. The RN serves as a primary nurse and/or accountable nurse when designated by unit assignment. Considerations include factors related to safety, effectiveness, competency, cost, and impact.
