Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Burn Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience within the last 3 years required. License: Must hold a valid RN license (compact or state-specific). Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only) required. Must-Have: - Epic experience required. - Telemetry test must be passed prior to starting. Description: We are seeking an experienced inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a 11-bed acuity adaptable unit. The focus will be on providing compassionate care to both adult and pediatric patients with chemical, electrical, scald, or thermal burns and complex wounds in a critical care environment. The role involves practicing as part of a collaborative and supportive multidisciplinary team. ICU experience is required. No burn experience is necessary. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required. Travelers should expect a patient ratio of 2:1. The ideal candidate will have skills in ventilator management, central line care, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. All travelers will be required to float to other units based on staffing needs. A telemetry competency on file is needed per calendar year.
