Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Critical Care Float Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 5 years of critical care experience required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS and ACLS required (AHA only) Must-Have: Experience with multiple ICU units (Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery) and IMC/Progressive/General care populations Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse who is interested in joining a team in a Magnet certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. The position involves evening and night shifts with every other weekend and some holiday requirements. Experience with various ICU settings is essential. The role calls for proficiency in the care of high acuity patients and the ability to manage complex situations across different critical care environments. You will need to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position. Candidates must possess experience in assessing and managing patients requiring advanced treatments and monitoring. Knowledge of adult patient populations is mandatory, with competency in multiple ICU specialties needed. Travelers are required to float as needed within critical care areas. A thorough understanding of arrhythmias and foundational cardiology knowledge is expected.
