Shift: Nights – 3x12s (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Duration: 13 weeks

Job Duties
• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, arterial lines, DKA, stroke, and alcohol withdrawal cases.
• Perform patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the nursing process.
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients, ensuring timely interventions and optimal outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Delegate tasks appropriately and support safe, high-quality patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and professional development.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of Michigan required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required (BSN required within specified timeframe)
• Minimum 2+ years of ICU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills required

• Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, and high-acuity ICU patients (preferred)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend rotation required
• Previous experience in high-volume or fast-paced ICU settings (preferred)
