It has a diverse patient population receiving various types of surgeries. This includes Surgical ENT, GI Surgery, Trauma, Ortho/Neuro Spine procedures, and General Surgery. Critical thinking and strong clinical skills are essential for managing critically ill patients. The nurse will float as needed to areas of like skill set. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is required. Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective patient and family education. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is crucial. The unit focuses on delivering high-quality patient care.
