Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Diagnostic Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 730-1600 or 8-1630 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience License: Current active RN license Certifications: BLS & ACLS certifications Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality, compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions. Responsible for performing cardiac stress tests in a non-invasive lab setting. Expected to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift. Requires experience interpreting rhythms. Preferred experience includes cardiac testing. Cannot guarantee block scheduling but efforts will be made to accommodate requests.
