Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Diagnostic Cardiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of cardiology experience License: Current active RN license Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications Must-Have: - Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans - Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services - Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare personnel Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures the implementation of solutions. Expected to complete 4-8 stress tests per shift. Requires experience interpreting rhythms and preferred experience with cardiac testing. Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed, but efforts will be made to accommodate requests.
