Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years nursing experience License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, TNCC Must-Have: - ICU experience - Charting system experience Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse. This position requires a shift of 3 days per week. Staffing ratios are generally 1:2, with the possibility of 1:3 depending on patient acuity. The patient population is diverse and includes adults and geriatrics. You will be responsible for the care of ventilated patients and managing various medical devices. Skills required include arterial line management, central line care, and titrating drips. Candidates should have experience with critical care procedures such as chest tube insertion and bronchoscopy. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient care. Flexibility to float as needed and cover weekends is required. Experience with the electronic medical record system is preferred. You must hold current certifications and have a minimum of two years of relevant nursing experience.
