Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have Skills/Experience: Travel experience Description: CVICU experience is a plus but not required. Attendance policy allows for one call-out per contract. If there is a second call-out, proper documentation will be required and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Orientation is conducted weekly. This is a community hospital and regional referral center with 171 beds. It is a certified Chest Pain Center and a Level 3 Trauma facility. Local attractions include various outdoor recreation options such as fishing, golfing, swimming, and hiking. There are numerous local restaurants, breweries, and distilleries in the area. Enjoy beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery. It is located within driving distance to major cities and attractions. No block schedule requests will be accepted, but 48-hour requests can be considered and are not guaranteed. Experience with common diagnoses and treatments such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair/replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR is preferred. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. The unit has a patient ratio of 1:2. Equipment used includes Baxter pumps. The Electronic Health Record system is Medhost. The hiring profile emphasizes the need for travel experience and a suitable personality fit.
