ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required. License: Valid state license required at the time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Previous ICU experience, excellent team player, ability to assist with line insertion and intubation. Description: ICU day shift from 06:45 to 19:15. Every other weekend and holiday required. Experience with EPIC charting system is necessary. Patient-to-nurse ratios are 1:2. Ability to float between ICU and other intermediate care units as needed. Assist with hypothermia protocols and CRRT/CVVHD. Experience with intra-aortic balloon pump and management of dysrhythmias preferred. Must have skills in continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration/monitoring. Interdisciplinary support and a collaborative environment. Provide care for adult patients with cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses, including those on vents and dialysis. Assist with special procedures as needed. Professional demeanor and commitment to patient care are essential. Ability to adapt to various patient care scenarios is critical.
